Nature & Arts Conference Possibilities & Description

Throughout the year, various opportunities may arise to host or co-host community conferences with visiting academics, speakers, or cultural and community leaders. Community conferences take place in the CrossRiver yurt, and cover timely topics such as: “Humans & the Environment;” Intangible Cultural Heritage;” "Nature-Based Arts, Crafts, Myths, and Folklore;" Wilderness Leadership & Therapy;” “The Nature of Science, Technology & Religion;” Arts & Social Transformation;” and “The Canadian Rocky Mountains: Ecology, Wildlife, and History.” Some of our own staff members and friends are active contributors to these fields of research and interest, and do bring cutting-edge ideas to these discussions. Various interactive and supporting inter-cultural, arts, community, and wilderness activities may also be available during community conferences. Contact us for custom options, suggestions, ideas, or partnerships; or check back here again for current opportunities and details about how you can register.
