Example Itinerary

Day 1: At 8:00am we will meet at the CrossRiver Wilderness Centre main lodge for breakfast. Soon after, we head down to the river together for a safety talk and load-up. We will spend the rest of the day out on the river. We will intentionally take it slow, in order to get used to the raft and our surroundings. We will enjoy the scenery, stop at fishing holes, have ample opportunity for photographs, and take some snack and lunch breaks along the way. In late afternoon, we'll stop and set up camp at a spectacular site somewhere along the river (tent accommodation). In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious riverside dinner and gather around the campfire under a star lit sky. This is a remote wilderness trip and some memorable places we will encounter include: Ledge rapids, Boulder rapids, Horseshoe rapids, and various animal habitats.

Day 2: After breakfast, we continue on our journey in a similarly relaxing pace. As we get deeper into the wilderness, some memorable places we will encounter today include: Pedley Falls, and The Cliffs. We'll meet up with our shuttle sometime in the later afternoon, and head back to the Wilderness Centre for a wonderful home-cooked meal back in the main lodge.

NOTE: Two extra nights accommodation at CrossRiver Wilderness Centre can be conveniently arranged for an extra charge to bookend your river expedition with a little comfort.
