During high season (15 June – 15 September), all meals are provided by our staff cooks. The only exception is for custom group bookings where the entire facility, or the teepee encampment and longhouse, are booked, in which case self-catering is optional. For the low season (18 May – 15 June; 16 September – 8 October), CrossRiver meals are optional and self-catering is available for all guests. All CrossRiver meals are designed on a day-to-day basis by our staff cook, and all guests eat together in the main lodge at designated times. Therefore, we do not have a menu of choices for any given day; however, vegetarian diets and special dietary requirements will be happily taken into account with advance notice. All the food we serve is natural and organic, whenever possible. All the meats we serve are wild traditional meats of this region, such as buffalo, deer, elk, or salmon, whenever possible; or when necessary, organic chicken and beef as well. Our organic garden on site also supplements our meals with fresh salad and herbs. All meal prices below include non-alcoholic drinks—dinner includes dessert—and are subject to change without further notice. Children under 12 years eat for half price. Meals can also be purchased in advance within an all-inclusive package booking.
